Jordan Peele’s ‘Nope’ Gets a Mysterious VR Experience in Meta’s Horizon Worlds

Look no farther than Horizon Worlds on your Meta Quest 2 if you want a preview of Jorden Peele’s upcoming horror movie Nope, which debuts on July 22.

Before getting at Nope World: By Monkeypaw Productions, where they may explore the world with other visitors, play games, and interact with other interactive aspects, they board a train that takes them to other planets where they can look for movie Easter eggs.

Two earlier horror movies from Monkeypaw Productions, Get Out and Us, will soon join Nope in Horizon Worlds. According to Meta, Monkeypaw Productions and “a broad team of seasoned creators from the Horizon Environments community” collaborated to create the virtual worlds.

In a blog post on the Meta Quest website, one of those creators, Matt Torres, stated: “Monkeypaw has been fantastic at offering input and helping us bring in aspects from the movie. We got to incorporate parts from the trailers, which we liked, after seeing them so many times. We have been able to focus our thoughts for the universe in large part because to meta. It’s a fantastic area to hang out and get a feel for Haywood Ranch.”

“People can completely immerse themselves in Jordan Peele’s cinematic brilliance through this virtual reality experience we’ve produced with Universal and Monkeypaw,” continued Meta North America studio partnerships lead Katie Jones. This is a special chance for moviegoers to explore this universe with like-minded enthusiasts, and for our partners to engage their audiences in fresh ways.
