What's the difference between a raw and a graded card value?

Should I get my card graded? Is it worth it?
Open a card's “Should I grade it?” calculator. It compares the raw price to graded sold prices and subtracts grading and selling fees, so you can see the real potential profit before paying to grade. A high grade is never guaranteed.
What are PSA, CGC, and BGS?
